Congratulations to all our American State Nationals for their wonderful outreach efforts in Webster, Saint Louis, and McDonald Counties!
Webster County:
Marshfield located in Webster County is home to the longest running July 4th Celebration west of the Mississippi. This is the 147th year for this celebration. The event kicked off on Friday, July 3rd with The Missouri Assembly group setting up a vendor booth and sharing their information with everyone they came into contact with. While Friday was a little slow, Saturday proved to be just the opposite. Thousands of men, women, and children lined the streets to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the Freedom it represents.
This was an especially important year for The Missouri Assembly Land and Soil Jurisdiction as it made its debut to let the world know that it is here, alive and well, and in the reconstruction phase. The goal for the Assembly was to bring awareness and education to men and women. They wanted to get people thinking and researching.
This particular event in Marshfield was one of the perfect starting points with its draw to bring people far and wide from across Missouri and other states including many politicians and proved to create quite a stir with many people wondering who and what was The Missouri Assembly.
The team of American State Nationals handed out hundreds of flyers and cards, and spoke to many people about the Assembly. On Saturday July 4th they won the $100 Grand Prize for the beautiful float that was in the two-hour long parade.

Saint Louis and Surrounding Counties;
The American State Nationals on Saint Louis County and the surrounding counties turned out in force at the Creve Coeur Pavillion to set up a booth and be a presence this July 4th. Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park is located in Saint Louis County and proved to be the perfect setting for their first outreach efforts. Overlooking the beautiful Creve Coeur Lake hundreds of people milled about enjoying the day. While very warm, the day was sunny and the perfect setting to interact with others. The group handed out hundreds of flyers and cards and made great connections. They also enjoyed a picnic together and time of fellowship. See the attached pictures.

McDonald County:
Movers and shakers John Gardner II and his wife Rhea took to the streets on McDonald County driving around their pickup truck downtown with two 4’ x 6’ Civil Peacetime Flags this July 4th weekend bringing awareness and recognition to the Assembly. McDonald County is located in the very far southwest corner of Missouri with two states, Oklahoma and Arkansas, bordering the county on two sides.
John and Rhea stopped and spoke to people and handed out flyers everywhere they went. They then visited with family and friends in Arkansas where they continued to share and encourage those that lived in Arkansas to reach out to The Arkansas Assembly while inviting those that lived in Missouri to attend The Missouri General Assembly meetings.
John joined The Missouri Assembly in December 2025 and has been one of the biggest outreach advocates for the Assembly and has invited the most guests since he began attending the meetings. At least three American State Nationals have corrected their status and joined the Assembly as a direct result of his outreach efforts with several more attending meetings and learning.

We encourage all American State Nationals in Missouri and other Assemblies to continue their outreach efforts. Missouri’s next goal is to have at least two American State Nationals on each county so that we can officially stand our counties and continue working on seating our state.
